Important News!

Self-Service coming to ADP!
 
We are excited to inform you that we will be rolling out Employee Self-Service in ADP! Our first phase will allow you to change and update your Direct Deposit information in ADP. This process is confidential and easy. When we roll out the Direct Deposit Self-Service process we will provide you with a comprehensive “how-to” guide. If needed, we will also offer some in-person guidance.
 
Right now we  have two steps we are taking in preparation for this phase of our Self-Service rollout:
  • We are going to be sending out Registration invitations to all employees who have not registered at ADP to date. We ask you to register in ADP so you can take advantage of this new feature! An email will come from ADP to complete this process.
  • We are also asking all employees, who have completed the ADP Registration to ensure they can access their ADP account. This will ensure that you are able to log into ADP so that when the time comes, you have the ability to log in and change your Direct Deposit information.

Welcome to the Inspired Call for March 23, 2022. This Is Roger Concha Market Manager for Southern California. First and foremost, I wanted to take a quick moment to thank all of the installers and coordinators for their continuous hard work and dedication. We are all very appreciative of everything that you do day in day out. Keep up the great work guys and gals!
 
Today’s Inspired Call topic is capturing customer signatures in Cruxos. During the pandemic, this is something we eased up on, but as the CDC continues to ease up on Covid-19 restrictions, we will be requiring customer signatures going forward. I know a lot of you must be thinking, "Why do I need a customer signature?" A customer signature provides us with written documentation that a customer has signed off on the work performed. Now, you might still encounter scenarios where a customer might be hypersensitive or uneasy about handling someone’s personal phone. As a Penmarc installer, what should you do in situations like this? I will go over potential FAQs and possible scenarios.
 
Signatures will be required for all Installs, Service Orders, ISV’s and measures. (b2b jobs might be the exception here)
 
  • What if a customer refuses to sign?

 

Explain to the customer that a signature is required to confirm services rendered are to their satisfaction. Asking for signatures can also diminish the number of future service orders by advising the customer to walk the completed installation. By diminishing the number of service orders, we can focus on scheduling installation jobs as opposed to service orders. In the event that a customer refuses to sign please update general notes and update our coordinating team.

 

  • What if the customer isn’t home or left?

 

If the customer isn’t there, please update general notes with that information. Keep in mind that Market managers will monitor all jobs and look for trends on missing signatures.

 

  • What if the customer isn’t happy with the final layout but I installed it to plan?

 

In a situation like this, the best practice would be to reach out to TCS installation and explain to them the customer’s concerns. TCS will reach out to the customer and ultimately determine the best course of action.

 

  • What if I don’t have any reception?

 

In a situation with no reception, please contact your market manager and make them aware of your connectivity issues.  

 

I ask that all of you take the opportunity to interact with our customers and ensure they’re satisfied with their finished installation during the signature portion of your tasks. I also implore you not to look at this as yet another task but as an opportunity to showcase your skills.  

 

 

 

Business Updates
 
April is right around the corner and we have some exciting news. As many of you might’ve heard, TCS is replacing their Laren line of closets with a new line called Preston. Preston displays will begin rolling out to the stores in mid-April. All displays for the New Preston line will be assembled by??? Did you guess it? You!!! We will use the store displays set up as an opportunity to train selected installers on this new exciting addition to the TCS line. One major advantage with Preston going forward is that TCS owns the Preston line, which should dramatically increase production time and availability. As we approach the end of March, which tends to be our slower season in certain markets there is good news ahead! TCS will be running another Avera promotion in mid-April that should definitely help offset this typical slower time.

 

 

 

Housekeeping Topics

 

Before I end our call for the week, I wanted to go over 3 hot housekeeping topics I’ve seen over the last few weeks.

 

  • With an uptick in design issues, and I can’t emphasize this enough, please measure all spaces prior to starting any demo to ensure designs will work for the assigned space. Laren/Avera installers - please double check all measurements prior to delivery truck arrival. Trust me, you have plenty of time if you know what I mean…

 

  • Please double-check your calendar every night for updates and or changes. Our coordinating team is no longer accompanying changes with an e-mail. It is your responsibility to check.

 

  • We’ve had an increase in days off requests within the same week. All requests must be submitted a minimum of 2 weeks in advance. We do however understand that emergencies do happen and will accommodate as needed.

 

Last but not least, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Installer kudos will be added to the written transcript of the call.
